Another step further.

Being back here is like beginning another soul-searching journey.

How I was once so used to this place feels so foreign now.

I wonder

Hmmm...

Human always fails me.

Music never does.

Don't Say It's Too Late

I've heard people around me sighed and said how it's too late to do something.

Too late to learn sth, too late to back out from sth, too late to etc.

But if it's really something of your interest, time doesn't even matter anymore.

Do it now than to regret it later!

To somewhere beautiful and care-free. Just you n me.

We'd bask in the sunshine, hand in hand, try everything we see, have a picnic at the park and go star-gazing at night.

I Run To You

Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood

I know it's kinda old, but Lady Antebellum's I Run To You has been on repeat in my itunes for few days now.

I guess no one's stranger to their hit, Need You Now. Their latest single, Just a Kiss is a pretty good one too.

Lady Antebellum is a country music group made up of Charles K, Hillary S, and Dave H. They've won various awards since I Run To You is released and more with their hit single, Need You Now.

Charles Kelley's deep and husky voice just blew me away, together with Hillary Scott's powerful singing voice, they make songs come alive, with melody hitting every heartbeats and make you fall in love with their songs. Their third member, Dave Haywood, does a good job on giving a harmonious flow to their songs with his soft background vocals besides playing the piano and guitar.

I'm falling in love more and more with this group! It is greatly recommended for those who have a flair for country music. :D

Hope you enjoy listening to their songs!

I did the most stupid mistake ever! -_-

Oh man, this is so embarrassing!

:S

Monday, July 25, 2011

If I could, I would send someone a big balloon, with a big smile n a big hug just to make them feel better when they have had a bad day.

I would tell them,

"Cheer up, I know things are tough, but you're definitely not alone! Everyone is fighting their own battle."

If I could, I would tell everyone i'm all theirs if they need ears. At least they know someone would always be there for em.

The world is much more beautiful with you smiling, plus everyone looks best when they're smiling!

:)

Shadow

I just want the world to be a better place for everyone.

How am I gonna do that?

Hmmmm....

Smile!

Everyone looks best when they're smiling.

So to whoever out there that is having a bad day, don't forget to smile even just for a second!

You will be surprised at how smiling can make your day a better one.

SMILE! :D

Happiness comes from things that matter

One of my obsessions, bows. Yea BOW as in butterfly bow, not the bow your head bow. Whenever I see bow, or bows, my heart flutters as it raises serotonin levels and my happiness shoot up to 100%. I guess they're too pretty to resist. :)

I don't have to have them to be happy, I don't even own many bows (less than 5), but seeing them is like how kids' eyes widen when they see ice-creams.

:)

Do Re Mi

Music plays its charm on me when I was in pre-U. I never knew what music meant before that, I mean it's just melody right?

I could tell you, music is more than mere melody! (at least that is what I think):)

There are several phases of music in my life (not even joking! :p). In my younger days I remember I could sing along to Britney Spears', BSBs', Nsyncs' & Westlifes', and yea I was in an english era.

Then when I was in high school, mandarin era took over and I started listening to mostly Jay Chou, this was the era when the puppy love took place (ahem u know how mandarin songs can make u daydream too much).

After that era, come the rebellious era when Simple Plan is all I listened to.

Then when I went for pre-U, I found my everlasting love for music.

I was introduced to this amazing thing called Ipod and always stared in awe at those who own it. I solemly vowed to get one when I went to Uni at that time. So there's this one friend, Jen, whom we just clicked right away through music. I was listening to her ipod and immediately I fell in love with the songs inside her ipod. Then I knew it, I found prince charming songs which I would keep it on repeat.

This time, I'm listening more to indie, alternative rock type of songs. And so yea, I come back to english era again. :P

Oh well, there was a short-lived korean era when I was in Uni. No idea what are they singing, feel like they're more to songs that you shake your head to and stare at the cute/handsome korean singers.

But the second wave of english era never left me, and I'm still listening to them til this day.

Imma introduce all the unsung musicians whom I love so much here! Maybe you would love the songs I love as well!

So tell me, what's your music era? :D

Geeky Me

I was browsing through my pics to see what I have (I'm not much of a photo person), and this attracted me most.

Yes, this was taken during exam period, when I was trying hard to be a geeky student. :P

What's your geeky moment?

IPhone Blogging

I'm writing this post with my iPhone. :) I love the idea of getting my thoughts penned down whenever I feel like it. The best thing is I don't have to turn on laptop and then get oh so tired to properly finish one post! Now I'm more than determined! :)

It's been so long

since I last wrote something here! My previous post dated 25th Feb and today is already 2nd May!

I guess the blogger in me is kinda procrastinating all these while.

Oh well.

Sem break has officially started and I had once again bid farewell to uni and say hello to home sweet home. It has never been so good to be back at home, the familiar faces, the home-cooked food, the local delicacies, my bed and even the air in home smells fresher and sweeter than you-know-where.

Another year gone, another lesson learnt, another step forward in life.

Life has been treating me pretty good. I get to wake up, have clean water and food, one hand juggling on studies and work and another holding tight to friends with never ending dramas, I still get to listen to my fav songs by the end of the day, talk to friends on the other side of the world, and then go to sleep and dream about everything and star-watching with the guy and next day everything starts again.

I couldn't have asked for more. I know my life may have filled with mundane activities, at least for another year or so but at least I am still living.

Everyday I turn on my phone and read news on natural disaster, people gone missing, country's minorities are voicing their concern through politics, and so much more is kinda making me to start pondering on the values of life.

People die from the cause of natural disaster and war. Just in the recent Japan earthquake and tsunami, mother nature has engulf and taken away thousands of lives. And the radiation leak is going to put so many more lives and generations in danger. Just a few days ago, tornado hit the states causing dead of hundreds of people and the rest living in despair with no home to go to.

I am just grateful for everything I have now, although life is not perfect or in a way that I wanted it to be, at least I'm satistied.

It's a process of growing

Sometimes when we've fell down, the important thing is to stand up and never fall at the same place twice. Well, if you do, that means nothing is learnt from the first fell.

It's a learning process.
It's not easy. But I am learning as well.
It's times like this that when you look back, you'll be very satisfied with the paths you've been through.

Because life is all bout pushing ourselves to our limit, we may fall, but we come back stronger and better than ever.

If you are troubled by something, don't rush to stand up, take your time and there will be a time when you know you are ready.

My heart goes out to all the Christchurh earthquake victims. Stay strong, everyone.

Love.

The World Spins Madly On

It's a song by The Weepies which has been on replay in my ipod.

It is a song that gives me a sense of tranquility, a sense of peacefulness I've been yearning for a long time. And it's been a while since I last found something like this.

It's so nolstagic at the same time.

'The world is moving, but I'm standing still'.
How true are those words eh? Those days were gone. You were gone. But earth never stops spinning. It was as if just yesterday we said 'hello' to each other.

...

Looking back, I have had the best memories which I'll remember dearly.

I took a break from doing and editing my presentation slides, and I just slip into my own world. The song is like one of many soundtracks of my life, flashes of yesterdays is played on like a short clip and I could just hit the replay button again and again as long as I stay a little longer there. It feels so good. :)

Live today so that the future will be filled with memories. Bad ones, good ones, they're priceless cause they belong to me and myself.

The song reminds me of bffs, laughters, happiness, heartaches, tears and many more.

What's your song? :)

p/s: Got myself a tumblr, do drop by! :)The link is at the side bar.
