Smile!

Everyone looks best when they're smiling.

So to whoever out there that is having a bad day, don't forget to smile even just for a second!

You will be surprised at how smiling can make your day a better one.

SMILE! :D

Happiness comes from things that matter

One of my obsessions, bows. Yea BOW as in butterfly bow, not the bow your head bow. Whenever I see bow, or bows, my heart flutters as it raises serotonin levels and my happiness shoot up to 100%. I guess they're too pretty to resist. :)

I don't have to have them to be happy, I don't even own many bows (less than 5), but seeing them is like how kids' eyes widen when they see ice-creams.

:)

Do Re Mi

Music plays its charm on me when I was in pre-U. I never knew what music meant before that, I mean it's just melody right?

I could tell you, music is more than mere melody! (at least that is what I think):)

There are several phases of music in my life (not even joking! :p). In my younger days I remember I could sing along to Britney Spears', BSBs', Nsyncs' & Westlifes', and yea I was in an english era.

Then when I was in high school, mandarin era took over and I started listening to mostly Jay Chou, this was the era when the puppy love took place (ahem u know how mandarin songs can make u daydream too much).

After that era, come the rebellious era when Simple Plan is all I listened to.

Then when I went for pre-U, I found my everlasting love for music.

I was introduced to this amazing thing called Ipod and always stared in awe at those who own it. I solemly vowed to get one when I went to Uni at that time. So there's this one friend, Jen, whom we just clicked right away through music. I was listening to her ipod and immediately I fell in love with the songs inside her ipod. Then I knew it, I found prince charming songs which I would keep it on repeat.

This time, I'm listening more to indie, alternative rock type of songs. And so yea, I come back to english era again. :P

Oh well, there was a short-lived korean era when I was in Uni. No idea what are they singing, feel like they're more to songs that you shake your head to and stare at the cute/handsome korean singers.

But the second wave of english era never left me, and I'm still listening to them til this day.

Imma introduce all the unsung musicians whom I love so much here! Maybe you would love the songs I love as well!

So tell me, what's your music era? :D

Geeky Me

I was browsing through my pics to see what I have (I'm not much of a photo person), and this attracted me most.

Yes, this was taken during exam period, when I was trying hard to be a geeky student. :P

What's your geeky moment?

IPhone Blogging

I'm writing this post with my iPhone. :) I love the idea of getting my thoughts penned down whenever I feel like it. The best thing is I don't have to turn on laptop and then get oh so tired to properly finish one post! Now I'm more than determined! :)

It's been so long

since I last wrote something here! My previous post dated 25th Feb and today is already 2nd May!

I guess the blogger in me is kinda procrastinating all these while.

Oh well.

Sem break has officially started and I had once again bid farewell to uni and say hello to home sweet home. It has never been so good to be back at home, the familiar faces, the home-cooked food, the local delicacies, my bed and even the air in home smells fresher and sweeter than you-know-where.

Another year gone, another lesson learnt, another step forward in life.

Life has been treating me pretty good. I get to wake up, have clean water and food, one hand juggling on studies and work and another holding tight to friends with never ending dramas, I still get to listen to my fav songs by the end of the day, talk to friends on the other side of the world, and then go to sleep and dream about everything and star-watching with the guy and next day everything starts again.

I couldn't have asked for more. I know my life may have filled with mundane activities, at least for another year or so but at least I am still living.

Everyday I turn on my phone and read news on natural disaster, people gone missing, country's minorities are voicing their concern through politics, and so much more is kinda making me to start pondering on the values of life.

People die from the cause of natural disaster and war. Just in the recent Japan earthquake and tsunami, mother nature has engulf and taken away thousands of lives. And the radiation leak is going to put so many more lives and generations in danger. Just a few days ago, tornado hit the states causing dead of hundreds of people and the rest living in despair with no home to go to.

I am just grateful for everything I have now, although life is not perfect or in a way that I wanted it to be, at least I'm satistied.
